Toning the print.

Using any chemicals in an enclosed area can be dangerous, particularly when using selenium toner which is nasty stuff if not used properly. The use of toners colour the print to varying degrees and differing colours and effects. I keep toners at different strengths to either have minimum colour change but with archival permenence or strong dilutions to give a range of effects according to paper type and other factors.
